How to apply for OPSC recruitment 2020 . Candidates are required to submit along with the printout/hard copy of the online application, true copies of the following certificates and documents, duly attested by the candidates or a Gazetted Officer or Notary Public. The candidates are also required to mention on each document “submitted by me” and put their full signature on the same. They must not attach original certificates with their applications. Only those who are called for the Viva Voce will be required to bring with them the original certificates, mark-sheets, Caste Certificate etc. of the attested copies, for verification before commencement of the interview which shall be notified in due course.

[ If a candidate fails to furnish an of the original documents in respect of the attested copics submitted with the application for verification on the date of document verification , he/she shall not be allowed to appear at the interview.]
(i) H.S.C. or equivalent certificate in support of declaration of age issued by the concerned Board/Council;
(ii) lntermediate/+2 Examination Certificatc/Equivalent examination certificate issued by the concerned Board/Council;
(iii) Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) Degree issued from the recognized University;
(iv) Mark sheets in support of all the aforesaid examinations passed (i.e. H.S.C. to Bachelors in Fishery Science) including fail marks, if any, issued by the concerned Board / Council /
(v) List of marks obtained at the B.F.Se. degree examination (from First to Final) indicating the chances taken to obtain the degree issued by the concerned University;

(vi) Fishery Registration Certificate.
(vii) Required pass certificate from the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha indicating odia as a language subject equivalent to M.E. School Standard or a certificate from the Principal/lHeadmastcr of the School indicating that the candidate has passed Odia in M.E. Standard;
(viii) Attach two recent passport size photographs (unsigned and unattestcd) which has been uploaded in thc Onlinc Application Form, along with the printout/hard copy of the Onlinc Application Form.
(IX)  Certificate of character and conduct from the Principn|/Proctor/Dean or Professor in charge of a Department of Teaching of the College or University in which he/she last studied.
(X)    Candidates claiming to be belonging to S.Cs./S.Ts. category BY BIRTH are required to retain with them the relevant Cast/Tribe Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed form, wherever applicable.
(xi).Community (Caste status) once mentioned by the candidate on the Onlinc Application: shall not be changed under any circumstance.
The competent authorities are: District Magistrate/Collector or Additional District Magistrate or Sub-divisional Magistrate/Sub- Collectors or Executive Magistrates or Rcvenue Officers, not below the rank of Tahasildar/Additional Tahasildar of Government of Odisha;
Persons with disabilities are required to attach copy of their identity card issued by the District Social Welfare Officer along with the Disability Certificate (indicating percentage of disability) issued by the concerned Medical Board.


A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 37  years as on the 1st day of January , 2020 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1983 and not later than 1st January 1999.
The upper age limit prescribed above shall be rclaxable by 10(ten) years for candidates belonging to (PWD) category, whose permanent disability is not less than 40%.
Candidates must go through the details of this Advenisemcnt available in the Website of OPSC before filling up the Online Application Form.
Candidates must apply online through the website of the OPSC http://opsconIine.gov.in. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily be rejected.
Before filling up the online application form, the candidate must go through the following documents available at OPSC portal.
i) Instructions to fill up online application form,
ii) Guidelines for scanning and Uploading of Photograph, Full Signature & Left Hand thumb Impression.

Candidates are requested to upload the scanned image of latest passport size photograph along with scanned image of his/hcler full signature and scanned image of Left hand thumb lmpression(LTI) in the online application form. Uploaded photograph, full signature and LTl must be clearly identifiable/visible, otherwise the application of the candidate is liable to be rejected by the Commission and no representation from the candidate will be entertained.
Candidates should keep at least two copies of latest passpon size photograph which is uploaded to the online application form for future use.
On successful submission of thc online Application Form, a Unique Registration ID will be displayed on the screen as well as on the top of the application form. Candidates are requested to note down the Unique Registration ID and use it in future correspondence. Candiidatcs arc required to take a printout of the finally submitted online application form and put his/her signature under the declaration for submission to O.P.S.C along with copics of requisite certificates and documents.
Intimation Letters for the interview to the short-listed candidates will be uploaded in the Website of thc OPSC prior to the date of Viva Voce which will be published in the Website and Newspapers. The candidates are required to download their lntimation Letter and Attestation Form from the Website of the Commission. No separate intimation letter will be sent to the candidate.
